Creative paragraphs- man in space

This week we have been learning to rework our writing to make our paragraphs interesting for our audience. We started by writing a creative sentence about this picture. As a class we will choose Nate's sentence because we liked it the best and wrote a paragraph each to follow the chosen sentence. Here is the beginning of my story that starts with Nate's sentence.

A spaceman bravely walks out into the icy milky way. He is looking for aliens in space. When he gets out of his  space ship  he see’s difference kind of planets.

All About Technology

In Reading we have been learning about technology. Technology is when you design something to fix a problem. This is my presentation about technology.

My Holiday

On the School holidays I went to the Parakai Pool’s with My whole family.

We ate fish and chips. It tasted yum.

It was fun because we got to go on the slide. I hope to go again.

What is Easter?

People have different beliefs about Easter. Some people think it is about bunnies, easter eggs, food, when Jesus Christ was resurrected and some people don’t celebrate it.

Easter Eggs

Egyptians and Persians believe that the earth hatched from an egg. They painted eggs in beautiful colours. The chocolate eggs came from Germany.

Easter Sunday

Christians believe that Jesus died on Good Friday for the bad thing’s we have done. Then he came back to life on Easter Sunday

My Great Great Grandma's Funeral

Last week I did not come to school because I was sick. I also did not come to school yesterday because my Great Great Grandma died so we had a Funeral on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My Family was there and other people were there.

When I was sick I watched tv and I had to stay in my bed. I watched cartoons like Sofia the first, the never land pirate and dora the explorer.
