My Holiday

On the School holidays I went to the Parakai Pool’s with My whole family.

We ate fish and chips. It tasted yum.

It was fun because we got to go on the slide. I hope to go again.

Easter Dictogloss

What is Easter?

People have different beliefs about Easter. Some people think it is about bunnies, easter eggs, food, when Jesus Christ was resurrected and some people don’t celebrate it.

Easter Eggs

Egyptians and Persians believe that the earth hatched from an egg. They painted eggs in beautiful colours. The chocolate eggs came from Germany.

Easter Sunday

Christians believe that Jesus died on Good Friday for the bad thing’s we have done. Then he came back to life on Easter Sunday

My Great Great Grandma's Funeral

Last week I did not come to school because I was sick. I also did not come to school yesterday because my Great Great Grandma died so we had a Funeral on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My Family was there and other people were there.

When I was sick I watched tv and I had to stay in my bed. I watched cartoons like Sofia the first, the never land pirate and dora the explorer.

Look out for Pukeko

We have been reading about Pukeko's. Here is a picture of my Pukeko's habitat. It lives near water and grass.

My reading group have been reading about Nga manawa. I found out that they stick to the mud so they don't slip away

In Room 9 and 10 we have been learning to do a Statistical Investigation. Frist we asked a question.
Then we worked out the answer and presented it in a graph. Lastly we wrote about what we found
