The speacial ride
Answer the following questions:
1. Explain (1 sentence) what a ‘bike track’ is- A bike track is an track that is bumpy or clean and nothing to make them trip over.
2. Why did they ride their bikes in single file along the track?- Abby and nick rided there bike’s with aunty kath because aunty kath was taking them to the pinic spot.
3. Explain where their track started and finished-There track bike ride was a suprise for nick and Abby and then they came to this clifed it was steep then Aunty kath told them look down nick and abby were so suprised then Aunty kath told them to go and slide down on the flying fox.
4. List three main ideas that you have read so far- They had a picnic it was a suprise for nick and abby then they came to this flying fox that there Aunty and uncle made for them to come down because it was so steep and a bit slipery.

Cat at the beach
It was a beautiful sunny day to spend at the beach. Johnson the cat was relaxing on the hot white sand. His master was paddling in the refreshing crystal water, when suddenly his friend Byron came along. He was looking very sorry for himself.

Maree Camouflage Reading Activity
WALT: Read and understand why creatures are camouflage and how it helps them in it’s environment
Part One
Answer the following questions:
- Explain what camouflage means in 2-3 sentences = A camouflage is a animal it’s like a lizard that can hid and can change colors it can climb plant’s many animals have different colors that's why their called camouflage.
- Explain what a predator is = A predator is an animal that naturally preys on others and a person who’s ruthlessly exploits others.
- In 2-3 sentences explain what countershading is =Countershading, or Thayer's Law, is a form of camouflage. Countershading is the pattern of animal coloration in which an animal's pigmentation is darker on the upper side and lighter on the underside of the body.
