Country's that host the Olympics must show they have the composite (space) to hold the games and invest their own money into Them. Through the influx of tourist the hosting country hope to gain more money during the Olympics. Oltimitly the IOC decide which country get to hold them.
In 2012 the Olympics were held in London, United Kingdom.
It was the third time London had hosted the games the Olympics were held there.1908 and 1948 one of the upsets of the games was in put-shot. Valerie Adams calm the gold medal only after it was found that her balerie opponent has tested positive for drugs.
