Maree year 6 camp recount

Hello What a exciting day of my life, I am going to take you through with my amazing adventure!..

We got to the camp site, then we got off the ferry ship we took the camp bags off the ferry ship and stacked it on the deck. We finished stacking our camp bags, we sat down on the grass and had a break we finished having our break we got up and went for a wallk on the Killer Hill we walked up the Killer Hill it was so tiring that we were the last ones to get back to the camp site.

The next day everyone woke up we had breakfast, when we finished having our breakfast we had to go and do activities. Our first rotation was sailing, before we went sailing we had to put life jackets on us for safety, we went and sat down, but first we had to go through some important lessons before we went sailing. Erin was telling us where theimpotant parts of a sail boat, some of us went sailing by there selfs and some went in two pairs.

The next morning we did our next activity it was abselling all of the children and I were feeling a bit nervous. First we had to put of our helmets before we climbed up, we had to climb up a ladder it was a bit long we reached the top of the ladder. We had to come down the abselling by holding onto a rope, it was so scary that some of us came back down the ladder everyone thought that they would fall and get hurt but really it was shocking for me.

I would like to say thank you to all the parents for helping me at camp ecspecially these two parents that were really clever. I would like to say thank you to the teachers at my school that made the yummy food, and the teachers that could make it to the camp at kawau Island thank you very much I really enjoyed camp and would say it was one of my best moments of going to camp.

I really enjoyed the concert ecspecially one of the most funniest and best dancer was the katz they made up a identical twin dance and they made up there own britains got talent.
I learnt how to do diffrent types of activitys in the water like kayaking, sailing and raft biulding.

Maree Goldilocks and the Three Bears - My Spin

Once upon a time there was a girl named Jasmine she was picking flowers for her grandmother. When Jasmine was walking along the path she saw a house made out of straw’s and the door’s were left open. Jasmine knocked on the door no one was there she tried knocking again but the door just opened. Jasmine walked inside the house she saw food on the table it was porridge Jasmine tried the porridge in the large bowl it was to hot, she tried the medium bowl but it was to cold for her then she tried the last bowl of porridge it was just right she smiled.Then Jasmine was tired and wanted to rest and sit down, Jasmine walked to the next room she saw three chairs. Jasmine tried sitting on the big chair it was to big, then she tried the medium chair it was too soft, next she tried the last chair it was small and just right jasmine was resting on the chair then the chair snapped Jasmine fell with sadness then Jasmine walked to the last room with three beds. Now I will be able to rest for now Jasmine tried the large bed it was to hard for her, next she tried the medium bed it was to bouncy, last of all she tried smaller bed and It was just right. When the three bears came back there porridge was eaten, next the bears went to the next room hey someone was sitting on my chair said papa bear,someone's been sitting on my chair too said mama bear,someone sat on my chair and it broke.Then the three bears walked into there rooms hey someone was lying on my bed said papa bear, someone was lying on my bed said mama bear too, someone was lying on my bed and there she is said baby bear, The End.

Maree Immersion Assembly - Now that's thinking!

Hello my name is Maree. And it is term two and we are learning about Maori Technology.

Also our year 1,2,3,4 are learning about Matariki and making kites. Our topic this year is Now that’s thinking.

This term as a school we will be learning about Maori Technology, Matariki, making kites, and also building things around the school.

Team 4 are focusing on Maori technology, telephones and learning about Maori tools.
This term we will be looking at Maori technology, I think we might even look at adding some different technology in different ways.

This term I would be looking forward to adding new things like learning about different kinds of way in technology, learning about creative things like using the Maori tools.

I am looking forward to make technology out of creative things, to learn more about telephones, Chemistry science, and using different technologies.
